The Wu-Tang’s GZA Comes To Montreal For Show and Lecture

Tomorrow afternoon, the GZA from the Wu-Tang Clan will be giving a lecture on the origins of the Universe and the symbolism associated to the Wu-Tang. The lecture will be at McGill University’s Stephen Leacock Auditorium at 4 PM. Later on, he will be performing live at Cabaret Underworld.
His album Dark Matter should be dropping within this year. However there is still no release date as of yet.

This is one of the many stops in Montreal for the Genius in the past decade. If we’re lucky enough, this concert might be the occasion to get a sneak peak of his upcoming album.

The lecture itself should be something of an experience. The themes, “Consciousness, Creativity, Music, and the Origins of the Universe”, will probably lead to a greatly enlightening conference from a man who’s been running with American astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson lately.

A moment to appreciate some deep thoughts from the MC  who came up with arguably some of the most universally intricate bars ever – as High as Wu-Tang Get if you ask me.
