Oddisee – After Thoughts [Instrumental Video]

Some artists struggle to reinvent themselves while others swing flawlessly into new unchartered territories. Oddisee‘s transition from conscious rap into future soundscapes has been a smooth one. His first instrumental tapes fnrom 2006-2007 were the type you’d cypher to in the park all day. Now his future soul soundscapes stand on their own and are the perfect backdrop for a spaced-out dream sequence. “After Thoughts” is a pleasant instrumental track off “The Beauty in All” (Mello Music Group), album available here. It’s got Montréal buzzing a few days before his performance at Belmont on Sunday. The event is presented by Far West Productions (Woodman, Pusha Wood, Leaving For LA, KCity) which just dropped new visuals for a bilingual track.
