Hip Hop Cafe attracts many Heads in Mile-End

Hip Hop Cafe, the newest trendy spot in Mile End, opened last Saturday, attracting many curious customers. Many smiles brightened this winter weekend on the corner of Parc and Villeneuve. Boasting the music of DJs Mark The Magnanimous and Dr. Mad for its opening,  the shop sells vinyl records, hip hop gear, and of course, coffee and snacks. A first in Montreal, the diner is entirely dedicated to rap culture. Owner Olivier Brault said he wants to help advance the local underground scene as well as established acts. Hip Hop Cafe has been set up to also serve as a promotional platform for touring rap artists.
