Danny Brown Will Join Action Bronson at Montréal Stop of “2 High 2 Die Tour”

Two of the biggest names in present day hip-hop, Action Bronson and Danny Brown, come together for “2 High 2 Die” an 18-show tour of American and Canadian cities. Despite being refused at the Canadian border in early September, Danny Brown has fixed his legal issues and will be at Montréal’s stop of the tour, on Wednesday October 2nd at Théâtre Telus (1280 rue St-Denis). Tickets are available via ILOVENEON or at the door.

Action Bronson

When he’s not cooking out of a mobile truck, or rapping to the elderly, Bronsolini has gathered quite the online fan base. Teamed with Party Supplies on Blue Chip, Statik Selektah on Well-Done or The Alchemist on Rare Chandeliers, the following keeps on growing. Fresh off his 5th released, Saaab Stories, produced entirely by Harry Fraud, we learned recently that a Blue Chips 2, where he renews with Party Supplies’ production, was to be expected in the next month or two.
You’ll want to catch the prolific storyteller from Flushing, Queens for another delightful display of rhyme sayin’.

“They want that old Danny Brown”

On September 30th, Danny Brown drops his highly anticipated new album, Old, which sees him going back to his

2-High-2-Die-3 (1)pre-XXX rooted sounds. The featurings on this album have been announced. Asap Rocky, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Freddie Gibbs will be joining Brown on beats from Detroit producer Oh No, as well as Paul White, Skywlkr, Rustie and of course Britain’s own Darq E. Freaker.

Far from most hip-hop stereotypes, Danny Brown fits absolutely no moulds. A perfect example is the production on his latest album. Mixing EDM, House and Grime to good old Boom Bap, the product of Detroit’s sound is now one of the pioneers of this reinvented hip-hop movement. His nasally-distinct vocal tone blended with his drugged out delivery make him one of the most entertaining rappers out there – on stage or in the studio.
Signed to Nick Cathdubs and Montreal-native A-Track’s record label, Fool’s Gold Records,”The Hybrid” is quickly becoming you’re favourite hipster’s favourite rapper.

On October 2nd, they will be at Théatre Telus in Montréal, for what will certainly be an explosive cocktail, as they are joined by Californian hardcore punk band Trash Talk. Having recently signed to Odd Future Records, they dropped their first album last year, “119”, under their new label.

After being denied entry in Calgary, he tweeted:

Those issues are now a thing of the past since the Detroit rapper got a week pass just in time for his Toronto and Montréal stops. This was confirmed yesterday on the artist’s Facebook page:
